They vary in size from 6
inches or so tall
, up to about 4 feet tall. There were areas where we say
them constantly for several miles along the road as we drove along. It
looked like for a couple of miles there wasn't a place away from the road
where you could stand and be further than 20 feet from at least one mound,
and possibly up to 5 large ones within that area.
